Wired Gadget Lab - 5/8/2007 - has reviewed the Sony Ericsson W710 and they write, “Awfully thick, especially with pocket-unfriendly antenna bump. Memory Stick Micro (M2) cards are at least twice the price of MicroSD. Proprietary connector handles charging, USB connection, and headphones. White-gray-orange color scheme isn’t pretty. 2-megapixel camera shots are unimpressive.”
PCMag - 4/11/2007 - has reviewed the Sony Ericsson W710i and write, “I think the Sony Ericsson W710i’s main competition isn’t really a phone at all, but the Nike + iPod exercise kit. For serious runners, the Nike+Pod solution is a much better option. The W710i doesn’t have voice prompts telling you how far you’ve gone; it won’t sync music playlists with your PC; and it doesn’t have any community features. But since it’s an all-around solid cell phone, less intensive exercisers may choose to pick it up instead.”
CNET - 9/28/2006 - has reviewed the Sony Ericsson W710i and rate it 7.3 out of 10. They continue to write - “The Sony Ericsson W710i is solid addition to Sony Ericsson’s Walkman phone line despite a few design hiccups and some missing features.”
