Slash Gear - 6/21/2007 - has reviewed the Samsung SGH-i600 cell phone and they write, “If I sound critical of the i600, it’s only because the finish line has moved on since the launch of the Blackjack last year. WiFi is a great addition, and the shape is attractive and pleasingly compact, but faced with competition from the seemingly-bottomless pits of innovation of HTC and coming smartphone attractions from Apple and Motorola, to mention but two, and Samsung’s omissions look more ominous. Windows Mobile 6 is a much-needed upgrade, and given the ease of use promised by the iPhone the i600 - or its successor - needs to bolster the Microsoft OS with tangible improvements in usability.”

3G - 6/18/2007 - has reviewed the Samsung SGH-i600 cell phone and they write, “So far we only have news of Orange signing up the i600. However, it definitely ranks as Samsung’s best smartphone yet and has the necessary connectivity weaponry to challenge the likes of the BlackBerry, the Nokia E61i and the HTC brigade. Whether you choose it as your device will be down to personal preference and which OS and smartphone form factor you dig the most. For some, the i600’s Ultra slimline frame may be the clincher.”

Pocket-lint - 5/31/2007 - has reviewed the Samsung SGH-i600 cell phone and they write, “Larger than the BlackBerry Curve, the phone runs Windows Mobile 5, but a heavily customized and stylized version. With Wi-Fi and HSDPA connectivity for web surfing, the only thing that really lets this model down is a confusing keyboard layout and 1.3megapixel rather than 2 megapixel camera.”

RegHardware - 4/17/2007 - has reviewed the Samsung SGH-i600 cell phone and they write, “The i600 is difficult to fault. Really. Compact and well-built, it is an ideal smartphone device. Even the tiny elastic-attached plastic covers to the different ports seem as though they might last as long as the handset itself. The micro keyboard might take some getting used to if you are unfamiliar with these types of devices and the mixture of grey and black colouring on the keyboard could cause a little confusion at first.”
