PhoneArena reviews the Nokia 6555 and writes -
“So, is the 6555 a great multipurpose phone at the end? Well, yes. Okay, so it may not get any awards or attract you from that iPhone or BlackBerry but that’s not what its goal is. The 6555 is there to get you through the day and still provide you with plenty of features in case you find yourself without say your MP3 player, internet connection, or camera. When you consider its price low price, the deal seems that much better.”

LapTopMag reviews the Nokia 6555 and writes -
“The Nokia 6555 uses AT&T’s slower UMTS data network (not HSDPA), but we were able to surf at good speeds using the MEdia Net browser. NYTimes.com loaded in 8 seconds; CNN.com loaded in 6; and Yahoo.com, which tripped up because of browser formatting, loaded in 11 seconds. Video clips also queued up quickly. Cellular Video content from CNN and ESPN loaded in just five seconds, but we noticed some lag, and the videos looked grainy. A 200KB game of Konami’s Pirate Poppers downloaded in just five seconds.”

InfoSyncWorld reviews the Nokia 6555 and writes -
“Overall I like the 6555. It’s an attractive phone that looks and feels more expensive than it is. This handset certainly won’t be all things to all people, but its feature set seldom leaves you wanting for more. While I tend to not like the clamshell form factor, I recognize that it has its benefits over the candybar configuration, and the 6555 capitalizes on this. When open, the handset was comfortable and felt natural to use, and will surely appeal to people who dislike phones that don’t place the microphone close to their mouth. And what’s not to like about a reasonably priced 3G handset?”

GSMArena reviews the Nokia 6555 and writes -
“Today’s market seems flooded with handsets of similar functionality, so Nokia 6555 is in for a challenge. The clamshell design and the attractive looks will be the key features to set it apart. Even inside the Nokia family, it will be facing serious competition. Nokia 6131 continues to enjoy good demand, while 6267 offers a 2MP camera with LED flash, music player controls on the flip, video calling, VGA video recording and FM radio. It does lack however the finesse of Nokia 6555.”

InfoSyncWorld reviews the Nokia 6555 and writes -
“Nokia’s 6555 is a flip multimedia phone, which admittedly looks much better open than closed. A bit thick compared to many contemporary flip phones, the individual buttons were convex and subsequently easier to differentiate. While open, the lines on the phone are very smooth, and the slight curvature seems to work well when held against your face. The large joint looks markedly less attractive when closed, but we still liked the clean lines on the back of the phone.
Pros: Smooth lines, intuitive messaging software Cons: Atrocious music downloads, software and overall experience “
