Sony Ericsson W880i Review at Pocket-lint

Sony Ericsson W880iPocket-lint has reviewed the Sony Ericsson W880i and thought the battery life was dissappointing. They continue to write, “Now that we’ve had some time to live with and use the phone, our first glance impressions were right. The W880 is a well polished phone that certainly has the wow factor along with a bit of retro styling thrown in for good measure. It’s solid stuff from our Swedish friends.

It’s main contender? The Nokia n95. It might be a little bigger in size, but with a 5 megapixel camera and GPS built in it’s still going to be a tough one to beat, however if music or blogging is your passion, you won’t go far wrong with this Walkman handset, just make sure you have a quick play with the keyboard in the shop before parting with your cash.”

Sony Ericsson P990i Review at Bios

Sony Ericsson P990iBios has reviewed the Sony Ericsson P990i and they write - “Overall the P990i is packed with features and looks very stylish. It has a huge amount going for it in terms of features and software, but its fiddly menu system makes living and working with it a bit of a chore. Fans of the series will love to get to grips with the manual and discover the beauty within, but newcomers to smartphones should opt for a model that is easier to get to grips with, such as a Windows Mobile 6.0 device.”

Sony Ericsson W710i Review at PCMag

Sony Ericsson W710iPCMag has reviewed the Sony Ericsson W710i and write, “I think the Sony Ericsson W710i’s main competition isn’t really a phone at all, but the Nike + iPod exercise kit. For serious runners, the Nike+Pod solution is a much better option. The W710i doesn’t have voice prompts telling you how far you’ve gone; it won’t sync music playlists with your PC; and it doesn’t have any community features. But since it’s an all-around solid cell phone, less intensive exercisers may choose to pick it up instead.”

Sony Ericsson Z710i Review at CNET

Sony Ericsson Z710iCNET Review the Sony Ericsson Z710i cell phone and writes, “The good: The Sony Ericsson Z710i has an attractive, user-friendly design and a generous selection of features. It’s a good performer too.

The bad: The Sony Ericsson Z710i’s external display doesn’t have the best external display. It also lacks stereo speakers and a camera flash, and its call quality had a slight echo effect.

The bottom line: If you’re looking for a user-friendly, quality music phone, the Sony Ericsson Z710i delivers the goods.”

Sony Ericsson W950i Review at Pocket-lint

Sony Ericsson W950iPocket-lint has reviewed the Sony Ericsson W950i and they write, “OS issues aide, while the phone does offer a good amount of storage and good playback, we just aren’t smitten with the half hearted PDA design.

It’s not powerful enough to want to be a PDA to replace your BlackBerry, Palm or iPaq and not straight laced enough to be a small phone to fit in your pocket. Mixed opinions all round then.”

Sony Ericsson W850i Review at AvecMobile

Sony Ericsson w850iAvecMobile has reviewed the Sony Ericsson W850i and they write - “The Sony Ericsson W850i is a fine product, even if judged as only a phone. However, being a good phone doesn’t justify its price tag. Then, the question is: is the W850i such a fine Walkman that you don’t need a dedicated MP3 player at all? The answer is yes - if you want a portable music player with 1-4 GB of capacity. Although some dedicated MP3 players may produce better audio quality than the W850i, most people are happy with sound of the W850i. A high-capacity video iPod, Archos, or Creative Zen Vision video player is a product that a music phone can’t replace.”

Sony Ericsson W950iTrusted Reviews has reviewed the Sony Ericsson W950i and they write, “The W950i’s 4GB hard drive is a lure but it is overly complicated by a poor user interface, which won’t satisfy either music or smartphone fans.”

Sony Ericsson W850i Review

Sony Ericsson w850iTrustedReviews has reviewed the Sony Ericsson W850i and they write - “There’s plenty of choice right now in the music phone market, such as the already mentioned Nokia 5300 XpressMusic and the very tiny Samsung SGH-X830, both of which have some good music control features. The W850i doesn’t beat either on size and sits midway between the two on battery life but it’s the only one that has 3G, which could swing it for some.”
