Sony Ericsson W850i Review at AvecMobile
AvecMobile has reviewed the Sony Ericsson W850i and they write - “The Sony Ericsson W850i is a fine product, even if judged as only a phone. However, being a good phone doesn’t justify its price tag. Then, the question is: is the W850i such a fine Walkman that you don’t need a dedicated MP3 player at all? The answer is yes - if you want a portable music player with 1-4 GB of capacity. Although some dedicated MP3 players may produce better audio quality than the W850i, most people are happy with sound of the W850i. A high-capacity video iPod, Archos, or Creative Zen Vision video player is a product that a music phone can’t replace.”
Sony Ericsson W850i Review
TrustedReviews has reviewed the Sony Ericsson W850i and they write - “There’s plenty of choice right now in the music phone market, such as the already mentioned Nokia 5300 XpressMusic and the very tiny Samsung SGH-X830, both of which have some good music control features. The W850i doesn’t beat either on size and sits midway between the two on battery life but it’s the only one that has 3G, which could swing it for some.”
Sony Ericsson W850i Review at CNET
CNET has reviewed the Sony Ericsson W850i and they write - “Call quality was quite good, though voices sounded a bit hollow and the volume could be higher. On their end, callers could hear us plainly and said our voice wasn’t distorted. They could tell we were using a cell phone, but that’s not unusual. Speakerphone calls were satisfactory, with loud volume. Callers could hear us fine but it’s best to make speakerphone calls in quiet environments. Overall, we give the call quality a thumbs-up. UMTS support is included as well, but at present, the phone is incompatible with UMTS networks in the United States.”
