PCMag has reviewed the Sony Ericsson W710i and write, “I think the Sony Ericsson W710i’s main competition isn’t really a phone at all, but the Nike + iPod exercise kit. For serious runners, the Nike+Pod solution is a much better option. The W710i doesn’t have voice prompts telling you how far you’ve gone; it won’t sync music playlists with your PC; and it doesn’t have any community features. But since it’s an all-around solid cell phone, less intensive exercisers may choose to pick it up instead.”

CNET has reviewed the Sony Ericsson W710i and rate it 7.3 out of 10. They continue to write - “The Sony Ericsson W710i is solid addition to Sony Ericsson’s Walkman phone line despite a few design hiccups and some missing features.”
The good: The Sony Ericsson W710i has an attractive, user-friendly design and good call quality. It comes with Bluetooth, a speakerphone, a 2-megapixel camera, and a Walkman digital music player.
The bad: The Sony Ericsson W710i has a disappointing external display and some flimsy parts, and its camera lacks a few extras. Also, music player navigation was a bit sluggish.
