LetsGoMobile - 21 November’07 - reviews the Samsung SGH-U600 and felt the reflective screen made viewing in direct sunlight all but impossible. Here’s an excerpt from their review conclusion -
“The Samsung U600 is a nice design telephone suitable for fashion-conscious men and women, gadget freaks and beginner mobile phone users. The operation of the menu is intuitive and fast. Of course there is some room for improvement. It has a good quality camera and makes sharp and clear photos, if you do not want to photograph fast-moving subjects or photograph under poor lighting conditions. It has a high quality MP3 player that allows you to enjoy listening to your music.”

Samsung U600 Review at Trusted Reviews
May 13th, 2007 — Reviews, Samsung, Samsung U600
Trusted Reviews reviews the Samsung U600 cell phone and they write, “The SGH-U600 is a fairly accomplished phone. It certainly packs in lots of features. Samsung should have provided TV-out cables though and while the thin slider format is really appealing, the touch sensitive buttons are an absolute nuisance.”
Samsung U600 Review at Pocket-lint
May 4th, 2007 — Reviews, Samsung, Samsung U600
Pocket-lint reviews the Samsung U600 cell phone and they write, “With only quad band GSM support those looking for 3G connectivity will be disappointed, certainly considering that Sony Ericsson has managed it with its non sliding W880i Walkman handset which is equally as thin.
That said, the U600 is a good strong handset from the Koreans, and one that most will be happy with in day-to-day use.
If you’re tempted by the Chocolate, but don’t want to go completely touch sensitive this will meet you in the middle.”
Samsung SCH-U540 Review at CNET
May 4th, 2007 — Reviews, Samsung, Samsung SCH-U540
CNET reviews the Samsung SCH-U540 and they write, “The good: The Samsung SCH-U540 has admirable music quality and a generous range of features including 3G support, Bluetooth, and a speakerphone. Call quality was decent too.
The bad: The Samsung SCH-U540 has a dull design with a flat keypad and an average display. Also, video and picture quality was unimpressive, and it lacks stereo Bluetooth.
The bottom line: Though it has a couple of strong points, the Samsung SCH-U540’s design and performance don’t quite do its feature set justice.”
Samsung U600 Review at CNET co.uk
May 2nd, 2007 — Reviews, Samsung, Samsung U600
CNET co.uk reviews the Samsung U600 cell phone and they write, “If Samsung’s latest thin offering doesn’t convince you then you should check out the Sony Ericsson K810i, which also comes with a 3.2-megapixel camera, MP3 player and expandable memory slot. If you’re set on getting a thin phone then another Sony Ericsson phone, the W880i, is worth a look.
Otherwise, niggles about the lack of built-in 3.5mm headphone jack or adaptor and the fiddly touch-sensitive keys aside, the Samsung U600 is a good thin phone with plenty of features that we enjoyed using.”
Samsung SCH-U620 Review at MobileTechReview
May 2nd, 2007 — Reviews, Samsung, Samsung SCH-U620
MobileTechReview has reviewed the Samsung SCH-U620 cell phone and writes, “If you want to jump on the cell-evision wagon and you are in one of the digital mobile TV coverage areas, the Samsung u620 is one of the two choices at the moment. The small size and comfy form means you don’t have to get a bigger device just because you want an added feature. The performance for mobile TV is excellent and the device feels zippy in gaming and application launches. The audio quality for music playback is outstanding. For mobile multimedia buffs, the Samsung u620 has a lot to offer.”
Sony Ericsson W810 Review at LetsTalk
April 30th, 2007 — Reviews, Samsung, Sony Ericsson W810
LetsTalk has reviewed the Sony Ericsson W810 cell phone and they write, “It’s packed with preloaded game trials, a multitude of music options, and a darn good 2-megapixel camera. While there’s a lot to like about this cell phone, we just wish it was a little easier to use. That said, true gadget lovers will master the interface in moments. Those with less patience should try a more direct and easy-to-use cell phone with fewer bells and whistles.”
