LetsGoMobile has reviewd the Samsung SGH-D900 Ultra-Slim and they write - “The Samsung SGH-D900 is a nice phone with great results. Both the sound quality while phoning and the sound quality of the MP3 player leave nothing to be desired. The same, however, cannot be said of the camera. If we judge the Samsung SGH-D900 objectively, the camera gives great results if there are good light conditions and still standing subjects. If the light is not as good, then we have to conclude that the camera in the Samsung D900 makes several mistakes. All in all, though we can recommend the Samsung D900 as a hip design telephone. It feels well made, looks modern and is simple to use. The concept behind it all has been well thought out and I think that Samsung is moving in the right direction. The cameras are getting better with every new launch and with the continuous developments in image sensors and image processors it seems certain that digital compact cameras don’t have to worry about hanging on to their share of the market. There’s no stopping the camphone!”

There may be others that just have the edge for music and photography, and there’s no 3G, but it’s a handset we feel very happy using on a daily basis because it really looks and feels the part.”

CNET has reviewd the Samsung SGH-D900 Ultra-Slim and they write - “The good: The Samsung SGH-D900 is a slim, lightweight phone that feels great in the hand. It has a gorgeous display, and features a 3.0-megapixel camera, a music player, a MicroSD card slot, a speakerphone, and quad-band EDGE support. The bad: The Samsung SGH-D900 has a flat keypad that makes menu navigation and dialing tricky. The bottom line: If you can afford it, the Samsung SGH-D900 is a sleekly designed slider phone with a stellar feature set, including a great camera.”

InfoSync has reviewd the Samsung SGH-D900 Ultra-Slim and they write - “As a stylish slider, the Samsung SGH-D900 is worth a look, if you can overlook some imperfections. The menu system is very convenient, and the interface in general was a pleasure to work with. The 3-megapixel camera puts the phone ahead of the mass of camera equipped handsets, but the slow interface resulted in many failed shots, and the lack of good software on the PC means this camera phone is not for novices. This may make a great companion for those who want a sidekick to their larger digital SLRs, but don’t toss your mid-range digital for this phone. Stereo Bluetooth support is great, but we could do without the tiny document viewer and too-technical e-mail setup.”

Pocket-lint has reviewd the Samsung SGH-D900 Ultra-Slim and they write - “The D900 builds on the D600 perfectly offering a host of upgrades and new features, but in keeping with the original style.
Slight grumbles include a bottom rim to the phone, which we found impeded our comfortably pressing the bottom row of keys on the slider, but then is isn’t a deal breaker.
If you are after a 2G phone that is thin but still offers good picture taking then the D900 will suit your needs, however for a slightly bulkier design you could opt for the Sony Ericsson K800i which in terms of offering is still light years ahead.
Good, but not the best out there.”

Computer Active has reviewd the Samsung SGH-D900 Ultra-Slim and they write - “Samsung’s operating system is straightforward and easy, though texting can be irritating. It’s much improved (automatic capital letter at the start of a sentence, for instance), but if you want a capital mid-sentence, you have to press the capitalisation key twice - once just changes the input to numbers. On the whole, though, it’s still an appealing set-up.”

Trusted Reviews has reviewd the Samsung SGH-D900 Ultra-Slim and they write - “An undeniably slim and sexy phone that’s let down by a few design and usability issues. It’s a handy 40g lighter than the Sony/Ericsson K800i though and consequently sits unobtrusively in your shirt pocket. Although it’s worth remembering that the K800i works on 3G networks too. Would I recommend the D900 to current D600 users? Most definitely, but just don’t expect it to feel like a giant leap forward like the D600 did over the D500 before it.”
