Palm Treo 750 Review at CNET
CNET has reviewed the 1.3 megapixel Palm Treo 750v and writes - “Overall, we enjoyed relatively snappy performance from the Treo 750, though there were some slight delays when opening several Office documents. The Web-browsing experience was also good, as pages loaded fairly quickly; when the HSPDA support is added, it should give the download speeds a nice boost. We weren’t all that impressed with the multimedia performance. Music playback through the phone’s speaker was tinny, and we really had to turn up the volume to hear the track. Consequently, this made the song sound blown-out.”
Palm Treo 750v Review at ITWeek
ITWeek has reviewed the 1.3 megapixel Palm Treo 750v and writes - “The Treo 750v is small enough to be used as a phone, and just large enough for a practical qwerty keyboard to ease data input. Palm’s careful attention to detail makes this one of the better Windows Mobile devices we have seen. Pros: Good user interface; well-laid out qwerty keypad; rubberised case. Cons: Relatively small keys; Vodafone 3G limited to metropolitan areas.”
Palm Treo 750v Review at SiliconRepublic
SiliconRepublic has reviewed the 1.3 megapixel Palm Treo 750v and writes - “I think Palm traditionalists will get over their initial culture shocks in no time. The device is a 3G-enabled phone – ideal for net surfing – and features Bluetooth, a Windows Media Player and can read Word, Excel, PDF and PowerPoint files. I must admit the 1.3 megapixel camera is a little underwhelming. Superb sound quality during calls more than makes up for this.”
Palm Treo 750v Review at Treocentral
Treocentral has reviewed the 1.3 megapixel Palm Treo 750v and writes - “I have a few pet peeves. The Calendar app is not up to snuff, the shutter lag on the camera seems worse than the 650. In ten seconds I could design a better button layout. And yes, sometimes you do have to click a bit more than you’d like.
Ultimately, those are minor issues. This is a great device and a huge step up from Palm OS devices. A few less clicks here and there are insignificant compared to the much more powerful suite of software, fast multitasking, and better user experience. ActiveSync and the ability to manipulate files from your computer are just two examples of how Windows Mobile is better suited to my needs.”
