BlackBerry Pearl Review at PCMag

BlackBerry PearlPCMag has reviewed the BlackBerry Pearl and they write, “Cingular subscribers now have an embarrassment of smartphones to choose from, and that’s not even counting the Apple iPhone and the BlackBerry “Qwerl,” the upcoming full-keyboard successor to the Pearl. Of course, this Pearl’s SureType keyboard will appeal most to younger folks working their way up from text-messaging on traditional phones. Older, stodgier users looking for a slim device may want to buy the Samsung Blackjack. The iPhone, meanwhile, won’t support corporate e-mail systems and will cost more than triple the Pearl’s price with contract. If you’ve been thinking of moving to an e-mail-capable phone, that makes the Pearl a real gem.”
